Dean Soll, President

Mr. Soll brings fifteen years of experience in the construction of cold storage distribution and food processing facilities. Dean is responsible for all operational aspects of the company including financial management In addition to being responsible for the daily operations of the corporation as a whole, he directs the efforts of the Thermal Division to ensure all of the company’s resources are used efficiently in execution of work nationwide.

Dean has managed projects of all sizes – from a $100,000 freezer for a San Francisco Food Bank to a $3,000,000 thermal contract for a major beef processor in Chicago, IL. He has been an active member in the International Association of Cold Storage Contractors (IACSC) since 1992. Dean served on the IACSC board of directors from 1995 to 1998, including three consecutive terms as the organization's President.

Mr. Soll earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
Richard O'Connell, Vice President and Principal

Mr. O’Connell is principal and managing partner of the Atlanta office. In this capacity he is responsible for sales, project implementation, field operations, quality control, employee training and safety.

Rich has an extensive background in the design and construction of refrigerated facilities nationwide. In 1999, he joined Subzero Constructors, bringing over 10 years management experience to the team. He had previously served as Vice President of Field Operations for The Facility Group. Rich is a member and former board member of the International Association of Cold Storage Contractors (IACSC), and holds current membership with the American Concrete Institute.

Mr. O’Connell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Eric B. Dahl, Project Manager

Mr. Dahl is responsible for estimating and project management in SubZero’s Thermal Division. He has nearly 20 years’ experience in cold storage construction, including many years as a Principal and sales executive for Aluma Panel Inc.

Eric combines his knowledge of the panel manufacturing process and widespread cold storage experience to assist our clients in choosing the best type of thermal construction for their facility, concentrating on performance and value. He has been involved with the construction of numerous agricultural and processing projects from planning through final construction, with special emphasis on the use of exterior insulated wall and roof panels. At the project level, he is responsible for planning, estimating, coordinating with architects and engineers, scheduling and execution.

Mr. Dahl earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Advertising from California State University of Fullerton, and later completed a two-year Commercial and Industrial Development Management program at University of California, Irvine.
Chris Brown, Project Manager

Mr. Brown joined SubZero in March of 2005 as a project manager for our Atlanta Thermal Division. He comes to SubZero with extensive construction experience, having served as field engineer and project manager on large design/build cold storage projects for Rentenbach Constructors, in addition to serving as a Project Manager for Superior Steel.

Mr. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.
